About Us
Drona Public School/ Coaching Center, was established in 2005 with a view to take bihar to the cresent of success and make our students to conquer the top RIMC, Mission and Millitary School. The atmosphere here is quite serene and conducive to the teaching and learning process. From Yoga, Meditation to the deep classes of brain storming English, Maths, Reasoning, Science, GK and almost all spheres of studies has made us the top and overwhelming coaching center since its inception. There are only two seats of Bihar in RIMC and only Drona Students are making it since last 11 years. Our reasult tells our story.

Objectives
- To serve the objectives of excellence coupled with equity and social justice.
- To promote national integration by providing opportunities to talented children, largely rural, from different part of the country, to live and learn together and develop their full potential.
- To provide good quality modern education, including a strong component of culture, inculcation of values, awareness of the environment, adventure activities and physical education.
- To ensure that all students of Drona Coaching center/ public schools attain a reasonable level of competence in three language as envisaged in the Three Language Formula.
- To serve, in each district, as focal point for improvement in quality of school education through sharing of experiences and facilities.
Salient Features
- Drona Talent: Entrance on the basis of Merit Entrance in Drona CoachingVidyalaya is made on the basis of an Entrance Test hereinafter called Drona Talent. Earlier Drona Talent was designed and conducted locally but now the Telent Hunt is being performed all over Bihar and some parts of UP and West Bengal. The Test is objective, class neutral and is so designed as to ensure that rural children are not at disadvantage.
- Reservation for Rural, SC, ST and Girl students Keeping in view the policy of equity and social justice and empowerment of women, there is a provision for reservation for SC, ST and Girls. -
- Co-educational Residential School with free Education Drona Coaching center/ public schools offer free education to talented children from Class- VI TO XII. Drona Coaching center/ public schools are affiliated to the CBSE. Entry to Drona Coachingis in Class-VI only. Each Navadaya Vidyalayas is a co-educational residential institution providing free boarding and lodging, expenses on uniform, text books, stationary, to and from rail and bus fare. However, a nominal fee per month is charged from students of Class IX to XII. The students belonging to SC, ST, categories, girls disabled students and children of the families below poverty line are exempted from this fee.
- Adherence to Three Language Formula The Regional Language is generally the medium of instruction from Class-VI to VIII and from Class I-XI onwards, it is English for Science and Mathematics and Hindi for Humanities subjects.
- Promotion of National Integration Drona Coaching center/ public schools aim at inculcating values of national integration through migration scheme though which the inter regional exchange of students between Hindi and Non-Hindi speaking States and Vice-versa takes place for one academic year. Efforts are made to promote better understanding of the unity in diversity and cultural heritage through various activities.

We have once again made our presence felt at R.I.M.C with our student Advay Kaushik s/o Abhilesh kumar coming off with flying colors and securing a berth for himself and two of our students scoring 200Marks out of 200 in mathematics .It is not for not that Drona is one point destination when it comes to preparation for R.I.M.C
